This one I just took a Sprite bottle at lunchtime at my desk, and put it near my computer mouse, which has a blue light. Then I used the Macro (ie. up close) setting of my Canon G9, the Vivid colours setting, and then played with it until the light morphed into a tube-like thingy. The incredible thing is that the blue part is only light. The round bubble-like things are part of the bottle and the rest is reflection. Hard to get it in focus, however. This one is not Photoshopped, but I may try to sharpen it up.
If you are reading Your Old Man Says for the first time, start at the beginning, and go back and read Five Stages. Chew that over for a while, and then you will have a better idea (or perhaps interest) in that fundamental question: Why? Click on the graphic above THANKS, ERIC

How do you do these incredible photos?
