Wandering around Oslo, I noticed the number of statues of women. In fact , the statues were almost exclusively of women. This study is of the cycle of the Ice Maidens. The cycle starts in the lower right quadrant. Call it carnal or animal attraction. Going counter-clockwise there is a cycle of cleansing, fertility, maturity, decay, and ending up with the statue of the female genitalia at the bottom of the lower left quadrant. And so it repeats itself.
I wonder if whoever placed these thought of this. Who knows?
